Description
The bridge crosses the river Nyanga which in the crossing area has one
width of about 200 m. In order to ensure the passage of small container ships, the free height below the bridge is at least 23 m. This causes the length of the entire bridge is 455 m, 190 of which are related to central arch span.
The structure of the bridge is entirely metal except for the deck slab made of mixed steel and concrete structure.
